OK I must go to bed now, given the fact that I'm getting over the flu, have two children who came down with it today, one child who I pray doesn't get it - he's already got an ear infection and is teething, and a husband who started coughing tonight. I made him go to CVS and buy Airborne. We'll see how it works!

Getting Caught Up - part 1
Ok - I know it's been awhile. I'm very sorry to have slacked off from blogging. I'm most sorry to my sweet friend Sara, who uses blog reading as an activity to pass time. She is nearing the end of a very long and painful pregnancy, having been on bedrest with kidney problems since before Christmas. So, I dedicate this and the continuation of the "catch up blog" to her and hope, Sara, that this makes at least 15 minutes of your day go by quickly! Say a prayer that she has a baby boy over the weekend!!

Good times at the children's museum. Our favorite friends from Clifford were there. And boy do we know them all since we got the box set of 35 episodes for Christmas. Bet you're jealous!
I had to put this picture of Macy and Emma looking like BFFs with their little handshake or something :)

yum yum
From this............
...........to this!

Yum yum! Actually those aren't his sentiments entirely. He's not a big fan of cereal or baby food, although we continue to try and sometimes catch him at the perfect time or mood - haven't figured out the science behind it! He would prefer real food, which is fine, other than you have to get it about the size of a piece of dirt for him to not gag on it. Without a palate, he has trouble getting things to the back of his throat and swallowing them, which makes for a challenging time eating all together! He does really well at swishing things around, enjoying their taste and then letting them fall out with slobber! An idea for weight loss maybe, although quite messy! He is still super sweet and has his first tooth coming in - beating his sisters by a full 5 months!
Dancing Sweetie
Makenna talks about her dance class all week long and how many days until she goes again. She always says two - "two days and I go to dance with Miss Kewwy (her teacher). She can't say her "l"s too well and I love how those words sound. I'll be sad when all her words are how they should be and her little tongue doesn't curl and look so cute with her "s"s. Oh and Makenna's big news is that she decided she wants to wear panties like her big sister so she is potty- training and doing pretty well. She has some accidents just because she's having too much fun. That, and she's in her own little "Kenna world" and doesn't care about finding a potty or even mind if her pants are wet for awhile!
The tamborine dance is one of her favorites.

LIttle Gymnast
Remembering snow and being happy it's gone!
A few more pictures from the big snow storm. It's hard to believe that not even a month ago this was at our house and today it was in the 70's. Gotta love Indiana :)
That was a lot of snow!!!
There's Macy eating it again
Daddy even joined the fun and provided some entertainment for the girls by diving on the snow mound. Silly daddy! We seem to say those words a lot :)
