Kai is doing really well! He is generally happy as long as he is not hungry or tired. He definitely prefers to be held, but will spend a little time in his swing or bouncy seat before wanting to be back in someones arms. He has been smiling and making lots of sweet noises when we talk to him and is looking more and more like his daddy! He weighed 11 lbs at his 2 month check-up and his first surgery, for his lip, is scheduled for Dec. 4th. We are continuing to try and keep the spongy tape across his lip, to hopefully help the gum line come closer together, so that a piece of his rib can be used around 9 months to connect the two sides. Once his lip repair is done, it should really start to move more. We love having a little boy in our family and can't wait to see more of his personality as it is beginning to come out!
